"Unlawful Inducement Rule" - A Giant Landmine in Real Estate

Why many of us are probably violating the law...                                                                                                                                                       

Few topics generate more controversy and disagreement than the so-called "Unlawful Inducement Rule" of RESPA.  Many real estate professionals support their businesses and supplement their incomes by securing various forms of support and assistance from settlement service providers (title companies, law firms, lenders, warranty companies, inspectors, etc.), and nearly every vendor either does now or has in the past provided such support, or has been asked to do so.  However, the practice can be dangerous, and the risks are increasing on a daily basis.

What is the Section 8 "Unlawful Inducement" rule and what does it actually SAY?
