Completely redesigned for 2020, the ORRA Leadership Institute is an innovative program that will help you strengthen your skills and gain the confidence you need to pursue a leadership role with the REALTOR association. The program focused on key leadership and association management skills, including leadership and governance; staff and volunteer relationships; meeting management; conflict resolution; duties of directors; strategic planning; communicating effectively; strategic decision making; governance principles; risk management; and more

By participating in the Leadership Institute, you can expand your network, grow your business, and contribute to the success of your profession and the community.


Prerequisite 
Complete the free NAR Leadership 100 Course: On the Path to Leadership course online by July 8, 2020. The course can be found on NAR’s website. 


Day 1: Friday, July 10, 2020,  8:30 a.m.. to 4:30 p.m. 

Day 2:  Saturday, August 29, 2020,  9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Attend Florida Realtors Board of Directors meeting at Rosen Shingle Creek

Day 3: Friday, September 25, 2020, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Location and Details: "To Be Announced"

Day 4: Friday, October 16, 2020, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Location and Details: "To Be Announced"

Day 5: Friday, November 20, 2020, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Location and Details "To Be Announced"

Day 6: Friday, December 10, 2020, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Location and Details "To Be Announced" 


Participants need to attend all six days as well as complete the prerequisite course, NAR 100.  All graduates of the Leadership Institute will be presented with a certificate of completion on December 18, 2020.  Bonus Day: Waterway Clean-up on July 11, 2020 - More details to follow. 

Note: Completion of the Leadership Institute is required if you plan to run for an 2021 ORRA Director.
