Demystifying the Appraisal Process will help remove any guesswork while educating you, the REALTOR, on "all things appraisals". Consumers want to make sure they are getting 'a good deal' and may sometimes feel that they should be paying less than a listed price, or wonder why their 'low ball' offer wasn't accepted. This course will provide the REALTOR with the insight and expertise to work with their customer in understanding a home's appraised value in today's market. ATTENDANCE POLICY 1. CE credit will not be awarded if arrival and check-in are not complete by 1:45 p.m. No exceptions. Please allow adequate commute time. 2. Check in with ORRA staff and sign morning and afternoon attendance sheets. 3. FREC requires a licensee attend 90% of each of the classroom hours. Physical attendance is required for the duration of class. 4. Electronic note-taking is permitted on silent devices, only. Cell phone use is permitted during designated breaks. She began her real estate career in 1983, working with a Realtor- Appraiser, listing, and selling real estate and started appraising in 1985.Pat and her husband Rick own Appraisal Group in Winter Haven, Florida and cover Pol and portions of Western Osceola counties in Central Florida. Pat is a state permitted Appraisal instructor, teaching the state required appraisal courses for those seeking to become appraisers and has been a member of the REALTOR® institute Faculty, teaching Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) courses since 1992. Active in Florida Realtors, Pat served as a member of the Florida Realtors® Industry and Data Analysis Advisory Board, was a 2011 chair of the Appraisal Council, is a past Florida Realtors Director, past president of the Winter Haven Chapter of Women's Council of Realtors® (WCR), currently a member of the Bartow Board of Realtors®, was the President of the East Polk County Association of Realtors® in 1995, as well as having served as the 1996 Florida Realtors® District 10 Vice-President.
