DescriptionLocationInstructorsCancellation Policy Code of Ethics – Cycle 7 of the Mandatory NAR Course for REALTORS® Early Registration Price: $10 until 07/17/24 @8:00am Regular Member Registration: $15 Non-Member Registration: $25 Instructor: Caroline Boland This class fulfills the 3-hour ethics and business practices for license renewal requirement . Every REALTOR® must complete the mandatory NAR Code of Ethics for REALTORS® requirement once within each cycle. Cycle 7 will take place from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2024. REALTORS® who do not meet the requirement will have their REALTOR® status suspended on January 1, 2025. This is a national requirement for all REALTORS®. NAR established the Code of Ethics training to: • Create awareness and appreciation for the role the code can and should play in the professional lives of real estate brokers (REALTORS®) • Enhance professionalism and competence ATTENDANCE POLICY: FREC requires licensed individuals to attend 90% of the instructional class time. Physical presence is required. CE credit will not be given to students who miss more than 15 minutes of instruction time. Allow for adequate travel time. No exceptions. All students MUST sign in and out to receive CE credit. Electronic note-taking is permitted only on silent devices. The use of cell phones is allowed during designated breaks. Originally from Northwest Indiana, Caroline earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Valparaiso University and held executive positions in the Reinsurance business before relocating with her family to Southwest Florida. Vacation paradise soon became home, and Caroline embarked on a real estate career culminating in owning her own independent, boutique brokerage as well as serving as Managing Broker for a prestigious, international real estate firm. An accomplished public speaker and educator, Caroline holds a Florida Real Estate Instructor license and is a Master Instructor with a leading educational provider offering real estate and mortgage licensing courses, both live and via ZOOM. She specializes in preparing beginning real estate candidates as well as advanced training for seasoned real estate professionals. Caroline also holds the Graduate Realtor® Institute (GRI) designation in addition to membership with Florida Realtors® and the National Association of Realtors®. Locally, Caroline has served on the Fort Myers/Naples News - Press citizen advisory board and spends time enjoying youth and professional sports in Lee County, both as a fan and a play by play announcer.
