DescriptionLocationInstructorsCancellation Policy Code of Ethics - Cycle 6 of NAR Code of Ethics ORRA Member Pricing: $10 Instructor: Kim Bell *This class fulfills the 3 Hours of Business Ethics license requirement* Every REALTOR® must complete the NAR Mandatory REALTOR® Code of Ethics Training once within each cycle. The 6th Cycle will run between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2021. REALTORS® who do not meet the requirement will have their REALTOR® status suspended on January 1, 2022. This is a nationwide requirement for all REALTORS®. Code of Ethics training was established by NAR in order to: • Create an awareness and appreciation for the role the code can and should play in REALTORS® professional lives. • Enhance professionalism and competency • Encourage REALTORS® to view their code of ethics as a living, viable guide in their daily dealings with clients, customers, and the public. ATTENDANCE POLICY 1. CE credit will not be awarded if arrival and check-in are not complete by 1:15 p.m. No exceptions. Please allow adequate commute time. 2. Check in with ORRA staff and sign morning and afternoon attendance sheets. 3. FREC requires a licensee attend 90% of each of the classroom hours. Physical attendance is required for the duration of class. 4. Electronic note-taking is permitted on silent devices, only. Cell phone use is permitted during designated breaks. Her experience includes all aspects of residential real estate sales, commercial real estate sales, commercial leasing, and residential real estate appraisals. Kim has been teaching real estate appraisal classes since 2014. She has been working in Volusia and Flagler counties since 1998 and began her appraisal business in 2003 while continuing to sell real estate with one of the top producing real estate companies in Volusia County. Kim is a Florida real estate broker, prior Certified Florida Evaluator, an FHA/HUD Approved Appraiser, Graduate of the Realtor Institute, is a Certified Residential Specialist, a State Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser and has earned many designations and certifications. Kim has also recently celebrated 3 years on the Veterans Affairs Appraisal panel. Consistently going through the ups and downs of the changeable market throughout the years enables Kim to bring relevance to the information she delivers in her classes. Her primary goal for each class is to inspire everyone who attends to leave knowing at least one new fact so that they can expand their knowledge base and participate in smoother transactions.
