DescriptionLocationInstructorsCancellation Policy Code of Ethics – Cycle 7 of the Mandatory NAR Course for REALTORS® Early Registration Price: $10 until 01/22/24 @8:00am Regular Member Registration: $15 Non-Member Registration: $25 Instructor: Kim Bell This class fulfills the 3-hour ethics and business practices for license renewal requirement . Every REALTOR® must complete the mandatory NAR Code of Ethics for REALTORS® requirement once within each cycle. Cycle 7 will take place from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2024. REALTORS® who do not meet the requirement will have their REALTOR® status suspended on January 1, 2025. This is a national requirement for all REALTORS®. NAR established the Code of Ethics training to: • Create awareness and appreciation for the role the code can and should play in the professional lives of real estate brokers (REALTORS®) • Enhance professionalism and competence ATTENDANCE POLICY: FREC requires licensed individuals to attend 90% of the instructional class time. Physical presence is required. CE credit will not be given to students who miss more than 15 minutes of instruction time. Allow for adequate travel time. No exceptions. All students MUST sign in and out to receive CE credit. Electronic note-taking is permitted only on silent devices. The use of cell phones is allowed during designated breaks. Her experience includes all aspects of residential real estate sales, commercial real estate sales, commercial leasing, and residential real estate appraisals. Kim has been teaching real estate appraisal classes since 2014. She has been working in Volusia and Flagler counties since 1998 and began her appraisal business in 2003 while continuing to sell real estate with one of the top producing real estate companies in Volusia County. Kim is a Florida real estate broker, prior Certified Florida Evaluator, an FHA/HUD Approved Appraiser, Graduate of the Realtor Institute, is a Certified Residential Specialist, a State Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser and has earned many designations and certifications. Kim has also recently celebrated 3 years on the Veterans Affairs Appraisal panel. Consistently going through the ups and downs of the changeable market throughout the years enables Kim to bring relevance to the information she delivers in her classes. Her primary goal for each class is to inspire everyone who attends to leave knowing at least one new fact so that they can expand their knowledge base and participate in smoother transactions.
