The more knowledge an agent has, the better they can serve their clients and protect them from legal complications. Buying and selling properties involves a significant amount of legal documentation. Now more than ever, it is important to understand the laws governing real estate practice. This material will provide a "red flag" to alert participants when they may be entering a danger zone or engaging in unauthorized legal practice. Class Expectations and Requirements for Continuing Education (CE) Credits: Upon entering the virtual room, you will be automatically muted. Please remain muted at all times to minimize background noise. It is mandatory to have your camera on and remain on throughout the instructor’s presentation. Additionally, you must be present and visible at all times. Avoid driving or being a passenger in a moving vehicle during the class. Fully participate in the class by engaging in chats, polls, and virtually raising your hand when instructed. This class fulfills the 3-hour "Core Law" requirement for license renewal. This class will be broadcast live virtually via Zoom. Originally from Northwest Indiana, Caroline earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Valparaiso University and held executive positions in the Reinsurance business before relocating with her family to Southwest Florida. Vacation paradise soon became home, and Caroline embarked on a real estate career culminating in owning her own independent, boutique brokerage as well as serving as Managing Broker for a prestigious, international real estate firm. An accomplished public speaker and educator, Caroline holds a Florida Real Estate Instructor license and is a Master Instructor with a leading educational provider offering real estate and mortgage licensing courses, both live and via ZOOM. She specializes in preparing beginning real estate candidates as well as advanced training for seasoned real estate professionals. Caroline also holds the Graduate Realtor® Institute (GRI) designation in addition to membership with Florida Realtors® and the National Association of Realtors®.
