About the Course:

Most REALTORS® understand the importance of setting goals, but without a strategic and tactical approach, goals can remain vague and difficult to achieve.

This course helps real estate professionals develop a clearer understanding of what a goal is, how to define meaningful and measurable goals, and how to create an actionable plan for reaching them. Participants will learn how to use their own business statistics and income goals to establish realistic yet ambitious targets and structure their daily activities around those goals.

By connecting specific activities, lead sources, income targets, and time management, REALTORS® will be better prepared to prioritize their efforts, work more efficiently, and proactively create the conditions needed to achieve their desired results.

Learning Objectives:

After taking this class, participants will be able to:

• Identify the key elements of an effective goal.
• Analyze personal sales statistics, including average sales price and the percentage of transactions represented by buyers versus sellers.
• Identify the lead sources that result in closed transactions.
• Calculate their average commission earned.
• Differentiate between gross income goals and net income goals.
• Identify the activities necessary to achieve their income and business goals and determine how frequently those activities should be performed.
• Determine the value of their time based on their desired income level.

DeLuca, Cynthia

Cynthia DeLuca was born and raised in DeLand, Florida. After completing a simultaneous closing on her own residence, all with a 1 year old and a 2 week old baby, Cynthia thought real estate looked fun and easy. (Yeah, right). She decided to leave her stressful advertising career and make the change to the real estate profession, all hoping to leave the deadlines and long hours at the office behind her.

Cynthia managed over 100 agents throughout 6 offices as the broker and owner of the largest independent real estate company in Central Florida. In 2016 she sold her company to ERA Grizzard Real Estate, one of the top 350 real estate companies in the nation. She then assumed the role as their Director of Education. She became an instructor in 2002, has written multiple CE and GRI courses for several states and has spoken at several state and national events, including the National Association of REALTORS®.

Cynthia has been featured in both Florida Realtor® Magazine and the National Realtor® Magazine. She has received the prestigious Florida Realtors Educator of the Year award along with the Orlando Regional Realtor Association's Educator of the Year award. The youngest of 6, Cynthia is married with four children.

Cynthia's passion is property management and investment properties. In her spare time, she collects rental properties and visits her favorite hangout, Lowe's.
