The GRI program enhances your real estate marketing knowledge and equips you with the prestigious Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation.
This series is a “nuts and bolt” approach that includes three modules:

GRI 101: Professionalism and the Law
Dates: Tuesday and Wednesday, January 13-14, 2026
• Day 1: Law/ Fair Housing and Diversity
• Day 2: Professional Standards
• Exam: January 14th, 2026

GRI 102: Starting Your Business
Dates: Tuesday and Wednesday, January 27-28, 2026
• Day 1: Contact to Contracts
• Day 2: Goal Setting & Business Planning/ Professional Success Transaction by Transaction
• Exam: January 28, 2026

GRI 103: Maximize Your Profitability
Dates: Monday & Tuesday, February 2-3, 2026
• Day 1: Finance
• Day 2: Law/ Negotiating and Counseling
• Exam: February 3rd, 2026

Credit & Completion Requirements
Completing the full GRI 100 Series (6-Day Course) fulfills 45 Sales post-licensing hours or 14 Hour of CE credits. During registration, select the appropriate registration fee based on your reason for taking the course.
• Attendance to the full module is mandatory to receive credit.
• Each 2-day module includes a 50-question exam requiring a 75% passing grade for post-licensing and GRI credit (not required for CE credit).
• To earn the GRI designation you must complete the GRI 100, 200, and 300 series (a total of seven 2-day modules). GRI modules may be taken in any order, but all seven 2-day modules must be completed within 5 years.

Susan "Missi" Howell
Missi Howell is a Broker Associate based in Jacksonville, with over 40 years in real estate and an instructor for Florida Realtors since 2017. She has been actively engaged in the real industry committee and in associations. Missi was the NEFAR and currently serves as a NAR Director.

Beyond real estate, she and her husband enjoy transforming their71-acre farm in West Virginia and exploring the world's cultures and cuisines in their global travels. Native to West Virginia, Missi has called Jacksonville home since 1992

Patti Ketcham

Patti Ketcham, GRI, ITI, CRS, SRES
Florida Realtor Instructor of the Year 2014, Patti was first licensed as a Realtor in 1979. During her more than 15 year career in finance, she was chosen as the first female President of the Tallahassee Mortgage Bankers Association, served as Regional Governor for Florida Mortgage Bankers Association and was appointed to the Governor’s Commission on Affordable Housing. Patti is involved in the day to day challenges of running a successful real estate firm. She has been awarded the ‘Platinum Sales Award’ from the Tallahassee Board of Realtors, and the ‘Titanium Award’ from the Thomasville, Georgia Board of Realtors. In addition to actively marketing real estate Patti believes strongly in the power of staying sharp and giving back. In 2014 she served as the Vice Chair of the Professionalism Sub-Committee, the Faculty Sub-Committee, and the Faculty and Program Development Sub-Committee. Licensed as an Instructor in both Real Estate and Appraising, she has been in the classroom as both an Instructor and a student for years. A self-professed math phobic she especially enjoys making financing easy to understand for everyone. Patti has a deep love for this profession and brings a great sense of humor and balance to her classes. 

Gonzalo Mejia
Gonzalo is originally from Lima, Peru where he studied Industrial Engineering, specializing in Finance and Accounting. Mejia moved to the United States in 2001 and started his real estate career in 2004 as a Sales Associate in Pensacola, FL. He obtained his Broker License in 2006. After moving to Jacksonville, FL in 2009 he joined Watson Realty Corp. He is the broker/manager of their San Marco office. Mejia also obtained his Real Estate Instructor License in 2013. He holds the following designations ABR, CIPS, CRS, GRI, TRC, and AHWD. 


During his real estate career Gonzalo, has successfully completed transactions with customers from several Latin American countries, Europe and Asia. He enjoys real estate and sharing his experiences with fellow Realtors. He also believes that having fun makes the process more enjoyable for everybody. 

Gonzalo has 20 years of experience as an instructor. Topics he has taught include real estate, math and physics, Spanish as a second language, technology and fitness. He has been a guest speaker at different REALTOR events to present about cultural diversity. Mejia also volunteers at the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors teaching Ethics, Fair Housing and Anti-trust at the monthly new member orientation. 

CANCELLATION/NO-SHOWS
All courses cancelled more than 48 hours prior to the course date will receive a refund. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice will receive a credit toward another course. “No Shows” forfeit the registration fee.
