The event's purpose is promoting diversity and providing the opportunity for you to complete the education portion of your AHWD Certification! The At Home with Diversity certification is designed to enable you to work successfully with clients in a rapidly changing multicultural market. It will help you to learn diversity sensitivity, how to apply fair housing laws in your business, and ways to develop professional guidelines for working with people in the real estate industry. This certification is highly beneficial for real estate brokers, agents association executives and anyone associated with the industry. What you will gain: • Knowledge of the subtleties of fair housing laws • Business etiquette for specific cultures • An edge in expanding your business to include international clientele • Updated statistics, demographics, exercises and resources In addition to the class fee, there is a one-time $75 $40 application fee that must be submitted with application and proof of course completion to NAR before May 31, 2021 for special pricing. Robert entered the real estate field in 1985 and has been actively involved in real estate sales and training since that time. He is currently a selling broker with Parks Realty, located in Smyrna, Tennessee, where he actively lists and sells real estate with his team, Team Morris. Robert has been honored with the Realtor® of the Year and the Tennessee Realtor® Educator of the year awards in his career. He has served on several local association's Board of Directors and currently serving as 2020 President of the Middle Tennessee Association of REALTORS®. Robert is an international speaker, certified instructor and consultant who holds several professional designations/ certifications just to name a few, the Certified Residential Specialist, Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager. Internet Professional ( e-PRO), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR). Real Estate Negotiation Expert {RENE}. Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), the Graduate Realtor ® Institute (GRI), and the Performance Management Network (PMN). He also been certified by the Instructor's Training Institute (ITI). He has conducted seminars, training workshops and leadership conferences for countless numbers of Realtors®, boards, conventions and associations. Robert is a Certified Instructor for Real Estate Brokers Institute. He is also a Course Facilitator/ Instructor for the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC) and Women's Council of Realtors® (WCR).
