DescriptionLocationInstructorsCancellation Policy Code of Ethics - Cycle 6 of NAR Code of Ethics ORRA Member Pricing: $10 Instructor: Cindy Egeli *This class fulfills the 3 Hours of Business Ethics license requirement* Every REALTOR® must complete the NAR Mandatory REALTOR® Code of Ethics Training once within each cycle. The 6th Cycle will run between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2021. REALTORS® who do not meet the requirement will have their REALTOR® status suspended on January 1, 2022. This is a nationwide requirement for all REALTORS®. Code of Ethics training was established by NAR in order to: • Create an awareness and appreciation for the role the code can and should play in REALTORS® professional lives. • Enhance professionalism and competency • Encourage REALTORS® to view their code of ethics as a living, viable guide in their daily dealings with clients, customers, and the public. ATTENDANCE POLICY 1. CE credit will not be awarded if arrival and check-in are not complete by 9:15 a.m. No exceptions. Please allow adequate commute time. 2. Check in with ORRA staff and sign morning and afternoon attendance sheets. 3. FREC requires a licensee attend 90% of each of the classroom hours. Physical attendance is required for the duration of class. 4. Electronic note-taking is permitted on silent devices, only. Cell phone use is permitted during designated breaks. Her experience is extensive; not only has she owned and managed several successful real estate firms throughout her career, she is also a licensed multi-state title insurance agent, real estate instructor, notary and former mortgage broker.For more than 10 years Cindy has managed two title operations for major title insurance underwriters with duties that included management, training, closing and examination of title searches as well as issuance of title commitments and policies. She also piloted title affiliations long before they became popular.There are very few problems in a real estate transaction that she can’t get resolved.Cindy has been actively involved in real estate and title education for over 30 years. She was a past director of the Service One Association of Realtor’s Success Institute and T.A. Title Insurance Company’s Training Institute. She has been involved with her respective board of Realtor’s Education Committees for more than two decades. Cindy has been teaching pre and post licensing courses for real estate sales associates and brokers in Florida for more than 15 years.In addition, Cindy has made it a point to remain active with her local board in numerous capacities. She is past Chairman and long term member of the Governmental Affairs Committee, and has served on Grievance, Professional Standards, Professional Development Committees. She is also a Florida Realtors Key Contact & sat on numerous committees on the state level.On a personal note, Cindy is a mother of three wonderful children, all grown and accomplished in their own careers. But it is her four grandsons, Aiden, Max, Ethan and Nico, who are the joys of her life.
