Alternative Revenue Streams for Brokers

In today’s real estate brokerage, we often see the agents squeezing more and more dollars out of the gross commission, with less for the company dollar. In order to offer technology, training, assistance tools and competitive splits, many brokerages have turned to adding additional revenue streams. In this course we will discuss several options available to brokers along with the correct ways to implement these.

After taking this class students will be able to:
*Understand the obligations of the Real Estate Settlement and Procedures Act
*Determine what items should be on an Affiliated Business Arrangement disclosure
*Explain activities prohibited by RESPA
*Understand the Code of Ethics requirements pertaining to kickbacks and sharing of any commissions or fees
*Identify ways to offer property management services to customers.
*Know the options available through other alternative revenue streams available for brokers and licensing requirements for each
