The GRI program is designed to enhance your knowledge of real estate marketing. Completion of the GRI 100, 200, and 300 series (seven 2-day modules) will equip you with one of the industry's most respected professional designations - Graduate REALTOR® Institute.

The GRI 100: Standards of Practice provides a "nuts-and-bolts" approach to real estate and consists of the three, 2-day modules; GRI 101: Professionalism and the Law, GRI 102: Starting Your Business, and GRI 103: Maximize Your Profitability.

ATTENDANCE POLICY 
1. The attendee must attend the GRI modules in their entirety and may not miss more that 75 minutes of classroom instruction time in each of these 2-day modules. Time is not cumulative- it is strictly enforced for each 2-day module. No exceptions. Please allow adequate commute time. 
2. Check in with ORRA staff and sign morning and afternoon attendance sheets.
3. Electronic note-taking is permitted on silent devices, only. Cell phone use is permitted during designated breaks.

Completion of the GRI-100 Series (6 days) provides 45-hour Sales Post Licensing (SPL) credits or 39 hours of CE Specialty Credits.  To receive course credit, continuous attendance is mandatory for all GRI modules. GRI modules may be taken in any order and all seven 2-day modules must be completed within 5 years to receive the GRI designation. A 50-question exam at the end of each 2-day module will be administered and requires a 75% passing grade to receive applicable Post-licensing and GRI credit.

Charli Phelps
Charli Phelps has been active in the real estate profession since 1985 and a broker owner since 1996. 


She is a licensed real estate instructor and Community Association Manager. A Realtor® Institute graduate having completed the master series programs; she also holds the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation. 

Charli is also a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), is a Certified New Home Sales Professional, was presented the 'Lifetime Sales Award' and has received numerous distinguished service awards. 

Susan "Missi" Howell
Missi Howell is a Broker Associate based in Jacksonville, with over 40 years in real estate and an instructor for Florida Realtors since 2017. She has been actively engaged in the real industry committee and in associations. Missi was the NEFAR and currently serves as a NAR Director.

Beyond real estate, she and her husband enjoy transforming their71-acre farm in West Virginia and exploring the world's cultures and cuisines in their global travels. Native to West Virginia, Missi has called Jacksonville home since 1992

Beverly Pindling

Beverly Pindling has been active in the real estate industry for over 43 years. She has served as a licensed real estate instructor for 31 years and is the Managing Broker of BP Real Estate Services.

In 2006, Beverly served as President of the Orlando Regional Realtor® Association (ORRA). She was honored as ORRA’s “Realtor® of the Year” in 2007—the highest distinction awarded to an association member. Her dedication to education has also earned her the Florida Realtors® Educator of the Year award in 2012, as well as ORRA’s Educator of the Year in 2014 and 2020.
In 2016, Beverly was appointed Chair of the National Association of Realtors® Regulatory Issues Forum, representing the profession at a national level.

Beverly’s academic background includes studies at New York University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and International Business from Fairleigh Dickinson University, New Jersey. She consistently ranked in the top ten sales and account managers for Real Estate Professionals of America. Experience in program development to ensure successful delivery of learning and effective facilitation skills. Beverly has 35 plus years in public speaking, coaching, training and teaching.

With a deep passion for teaching, Beverly continues to inspire real estate professionals through her classes, leadership, and mentorship.

Nishad Khan

Nishad Khan - ORLANDO, Florida Lawyer - Justia

Nishad Khan founded Nishad Khan PL in 2007 after working at key Orlando law firms. He has over 13 years' experience representing developers, buyers, sellers, and lenders in every phase of commercial and residential property transactions.

More than a real estate lawyer, Nishad also is a licensed real estate broker, giving him an insider's perspective into all stages of the process. He helps those who are buying a house or building or developing a property, to ensure that every step along the way is handled correctly and in his client's best interest. If an issue needs court intervention, Nishad handles this as well.

Beyond the real estate and legal communities, Nishad is a board member of the Better Business Bureau the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Florida Literacy Coalition, a state organization that promotes Adult Literacy.

Nishad enjoys biking on the local trails and playing basketball or squash, and spending time with his wife Yasmeen and their three children. He is fluent in Hindi and Urdu.

Grant Simon, GRI

Grant Simon is a 30-year veteran of the Real Estate and Mortgage Banking Industry and a nationally known speaker, course developer and writer. Accolades include being a three-time recipient of the 'Educator of the Year' award by the Orlando Regional Realtor® Association and the 2015 recipient of Florida Realtors® 'Educator of the Year' award.

He is also a convention speaker for numerous associations across the country. Grant is an expert on the Dodd Frank ACT, The CFPB and TRID. He is a long time Florida Realtors® faculty member and GRI Instructor extraordinaire.

Fryer, Richard

Dick Fryer, ABR, DREI, is a licensed real estate broker and instructor who has taught thousands of real estate students over the past 28 years. An ORRA past president, he was named 2002 Educator of the Year by Florida REALTORS® and currently serves on the National Advisory Board of the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC) and the Florida Real Estate Commission.
