This class fulfills the 3-hour ethics and business practices for license renewal requirement .

Every REALTOR® must complete the mandatory NAR Code of Ethics for REALTORS® requirement once within each cycle. Cycle 7 will take place from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2024. REALTORS® who do not meet the requirement will have their REALTOR® status suspended on January 1, 2025. This is a national requirement for all REALTORS®.

NAR established the Code of Ethics training to:
• Create awareness and appreciation for the role the code can and should play in the professional lives of real estate brokers (REALTORS®)
• Enhance professionalism and competence

ATTENDANCE POLICY:
FREC requires licensed individuals to attend 90% of the instructional class time. Physical presence is required.
CE credit will not be given to students who miss more than 15 minutes of instruction time. Allow for adequate travel time. No exceptions.
All students MUST sign in and out to receive CE credit.
Electronic note-taking is permitted only on silent devices. The use of cell phones is allowed during designated breaks.

Chiniqua "Star" Williams
Star has been working in the real estate industry in Florida since 2000. Her experience includes all aspects of Business and Brokerage Management, Sales, and Property Management. Possessing two Collegiate degrees in Business Management, she has trained new and seasoned associates for many years, Star is very passionate about helping others to build successful careers on a solidfoundation of basics and assist in implementing systems and tools to take their careers to the next level.  Being on the front lines of the vastly changing markets over the years has enabled Star to bring relevance to the information she delivers in her classes. Her primary goal for each class is to inspire everyone who attends with enthusiasm in achieving their highest goals and providing them the best opportunity to learn something new that they can implement in their businesses and keep them moving forward to the realization of their Best Self.  Before receiving licensure in 2000, Star was a Call Center Manager for a credit card company and taught Sunday School Classes at her Father’s church. She is currently a multiple licensed Florida Real Estate Broker of her own firms; an Instructor for Gold Coast Schools teaching Pre and Post Licensing and sits on the Grievance and Communications Committees at the Orlando Regional Realtors Association. Star enjoys having a hand in the successes of those she works with.
