Instructor: Robert Gress

What is agency law and why is it so important?
Do you know who or what decides which type of representation you will assume in the real estate transaction – transaction broker, single agent, or no brokerage relationship? If not, then this class is definitely for you! You will walk away with a complete understanding of Florida brokerage relationships and whether an agency or transactional brokerage relationship exists between you as the licensee and a seller or buyer.

This class will help you understand:

• The Florida Brokerage Relationship Act
• Three choices for representation under the act
• Requirements for brokerage relationship document retention
• How does the Florida Brokerage Disclosure Act apply to day-to-day business
• Inappropriate behaviors in real estate agency representation
• Role playing and active engagement from a listing, buyer, and broker perspective
