Masks are encouraged to protect the safety of our members and staff** Real estate appraisal can be a universe unto itself, and oftentimes consumers (and even Realtors®!) are left with questions. This course will walk agents through the importance of a strong listing, how to use their newly acquired appraising skills to help engage the prospect and convert them to a customer, and how to communicate effectively with the bank’s appraiser. Realtors® participating in this course will learn that, often times, they can get more involved in the appraisal process than they think – ensuring a great outcome for both them and their buyer. ATTENDANCE POLICY 1. FREC requires that licensees attend 90% of instructional class time. Physical presence is required 2. CE credit will not be awarded to students who miss more than 20 minutes of instructional time. Please allow adequate commute time. No exceptions. 3. All students MUST sign-in and out to receive CE credit. 4. Electronic note-taking is permitted on silent devices, only. Cell phone use is permitted during designated breaks. Her experience includes all aspects of residential real estate sales, commercial real estate sales, commercial leasing, and residential real estate appraisals. Kim has been teaching real estate appraisal classes since 2014. She has been working in Volusia and Flagler counties since 1998 and began her appraisal business in 2003 while continuing to sell real estate with one of the top producing real estate companies in Volusia County. Kim is a Florida real estate broker, prior Certified Florida Evaluator, an FHA/HUD Approved Appraiser, Graduate of the Realtor Institute, is a Certified Residential Specialist, a State Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser and has earned many designations and certifications. Kim has also recently celebrated 3 years on the Veterans Affairs Appraisal panel. Consistently going through the ups and downs of the changeable market throughout the years enables Kim to bring relevance to the information she delivers in her classes. Her primary goal for each class is to inspire everyone who attends to leave knowing at least one new fact so that they can expand their knowledge base and participate in smoother transactions.
